The Beginners Guide to Meditation

Keep It Super Simple (KISS)

If you haven’t read the blog post about a morning routine that will transform you life, then you should definitely check it out. I touch on how meditation doesn’t have to be complicated here.

But I will also tell you more here, because I am just that kinda person :)

Okay, so meditation is always seen on social media, TV, basically anywhere as something that is done sitting down with the lights dim, some ambient lighting and maybe some sounds or a person talking softly in the background. So yeah, it’s no wonder why so many people are like, “I don’t know how to meditate.” Truth it, no one fkn knows how to meditate. It’s not a one size fits all thing.

Some people meditate with no sounds, just focusing on breath. Some listen to a person telling them something or walking them through a scenario. Some just close their eyes and see what comes up. I honestly, do ALL of these. Often. Sometimes, my meditation is just me day dreaming. This is my favorite one.

Let me tell you why:

When I have closed my eyes and allowed anything to come up then “day dreamed” I usually end up getting some kind of big realization about the thing I am living in my head (my manifestation, if you will).

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
