This Morning Routine Will Improve Your Mood and Your Life
Transform Your Day with a Mindful Morning Routine
A morning routine doesn’t have to feel like another thing on your to-do list. It does not have to be boring, the same every single day, or super elaborate. This 15 minute morning routine will transform your life.
Journaling, meditation, and movement are very effective wellness habits. They keep us mindful, grateful, and in touch with ourselves as we lead busy lives. Going through the hustle and bustle of managing work, personal, and health and wellness can seem daunting, but devoting just 15 minutes to yourself every morning will be sure to change your life. It will keep you in alignment to feel empowered to pursue AND achieve your goals.
5 minutes each:
Meditation can help you stay calm, centered, balanced, and keep inner peace. It also has been shown to improve focus and concentration. Meditation doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. It can be done while sitting or lying. It can be a quiet time alone or a guided meditation with a specific focus and goal. Meditation can also be as simple as focusing on your breathing or trying different breathing techniques.
Journaling helps you reconnect with yourself. It is also a great way to release pent up emotions and thoughts and also to organize and process emotions and feelings. Journaling can be a brain dump or just writing down what you are grateful for and what you want to attract and manifest into your life.
Movement- my personal favorite part of my morning routine. Movement helps move stagnant energy. It elevated endorphins and feelings of well-being. It is also a great way to get your heart pumping and circulating fresh oxygen throughout your body first thing in the morning. Movement can be dancing (my favorite), stretching, yoga routine, or jumping up and down. Basically, do whatever feels good to you in the moment. Some days your body might need to slowly breath and stretch while other days your body might feel the need to punch the air a hundred times- it’s all about releasing energy.
Give this routine a try. Mix it up. Have fun and experiment with it then let me know how it went for you!
